Lime paint offers you the possibility to create various textures and finishes. Depending on the technique you choose, lime paint provides unique color gradations and an authentic look. The paint is suitable for both walls and furniture, and each technique gives its own character to your interior.

1. Cloudy technique:
   • Preparation: Start with the right primer, such as Wall Primer, and if possible, have it tinted in the desired color already. This ensures a seamless transition between layers.
   • Technique: Apply the first layer of lime paint diluted and work in circular, overlapping motions (also called "grape clusters"). For large walls, it is important to work with two people and take turns. This prevents each painter's individual style from coming through too much, which leads to an inconsistent result. By painting alternately, you can harmonize the movements and nuances on the wall and ensure an even effect.
     
     
2. Concrete look:
   • Preparation: Ensure a fully opaque primer layer (usually 2 layers) to have a solid base.
   • Technique: Use a spatula to apply lime paint in one layer. During the drying process, moisten the paint slightly and go over it again with a spatula to achieve the desired polished and concrete-like effect. This gives your wall a robust, matte finish with a subtle sheen.
     
     
3. Spatula technique (combined with brushing):
   • First layer: Apply the first layer of lime paint diluted (10%) with a brush.
   • Second layer: Paint the second layer diluted (30%) and start spatula work immediately. Use a damp spatula to remove excess lime and to accentuate the pattern of the first layer. The longer you use the spatula, the more shine and texture you create. This gives a lively effect with a handcrafted appearance.
