We are not just a paint shop; we make our own paint. We've been doing so since 1946 under the name BEVEPE, a Bruges paint factory with over 75 years of craftsmanship. As a manufacturer and retailer, we have one mission: to make quality paint and textures accessible to everyone.

80 years of craftsmanship: from BEVEPE to Paintfactory

The story began in 1946, when Beke and Van Poucke founded BEVEPE. First as a distributor of chemicals, but soon they started producing their own paints. Roger Van Poucke continued this line and expanded the factory.

1960 – Move to Nijverheidsstraat in Bruges
1990 – New chapter in the industrial area De Blauwe Toren, where we are still located today
2005 – BEVEPE starts private label collaborations

Today, Yves Op de Beeck leads the family business, which has since grown into a specialist in paints and decorative techniques.

The start of Paintfactory

In 2009, we launched Paintfactory. Not a traditional paint store, but a place where customers buy directly from the source, with professional advice and factory prices.
