The Sundae house 2.0: a multi-story building full of warm colours and Paintfactory paint
Eline from Sundae renovated a multi-story building in Kortrijk, giving the house a warm, contemporary look with Paintfactory paint. In this project, colour and atmosphere play a major role: each room received its own character, yet remains beautifully connected to the rest of the interior.
Together with Paintfactory, a colour palette was sought that matched the light, layout, and ambiance of the house. From soft base tones to warm accents and subtle texture: the chosen colours provide peace, cosiness, and personality throughout the entire home.
In-home colour advice with Paintfactory
Before the painting began, Eline received a colour consultant from Paintfactory. Together, they discussed the atmosphere they wanted to create in the multi-story building and which colours could best convey that atmosphere.
Colour advice isn't just about choosing beautiful shades. It also considers lighting, materials, furniture, sense of space, and the function of each room. This creates a colour palette that works throughout the entire house, yet gives each room its own character.
For this Sundae project, a combination of soft base tones, warm accents, and practical yet stylish paint finishes was chosen.
Picking up paint at the Paintfactory store in Kortrijk
After the colour consultation, the paint was picked up at the Paintfactory store in Kortrijk. There, Eline received the right products, colours, and finishes for each room.
The project used various Paintfactory paints: wall paint for a calm base, Wall Bathroom & Kitchen for rooms requiring extra protection, and Bruut for a subtle mineral texture. This ensured that each room received not only the right colour but also the right finish.
Kitchen in Kasjmierwit, Zonnesteenrood and Bountywit
The kitchen was painted with Muur Badkamer & Keuken in the colours Kasjmierwit, Zonnesteenrood and Bountywit. A clever choice, as a kitchen requires paint that can withstand splashes, condensation, and daily use.
Kasjmierwit and Bountywit provide a light, fresh base. Sunstone Red adds warmth and character to the space. These warm tones extend beautifully into the cosy breakfast nook, making the kitchen and dining area a cohesive whole.
The result is a kitchen that is practical yet feels very homely.
Living room in Vlasbeige
In the living room, wall paint in the colour Vlasbeige was chosen. This soft, natural beige tone brings peace and warmth to the space.
Vlasbeige is a versatile colour that easily combines with various materials and interior styles. In a living room, it provides a calm base without making the overall impression flat or cold. Perfect for a place where life is lived, relaxation is found, and people gather.

The master bedroom received a coat of wall paint in the colour Berggrasgroen. This natural green hue immediately brings tranquility to the bedroom.

Teenager's room in Riad-Oranje en Vlasbeige

In the bathroom too, products were consciously chosen. Here, Wall Bathroom & Kitchen was used in combination with Bruut, in the colours Kasjmierwit and Risottowit.
Muur Badkamer & Keuken is suitable for damp areas and provides a strong, washable finish. Bruut adds a subtle mineral texture, giving the bathroom more depth and character.
Kasjmierwit en Risottowit keep the space light, soft, and timeless. The combination of practical paint and textured paint makes the bathroom stylish, calm, and user-friendly.
A warm multi-story building with a well-thought-out colour palette
