Pearls technology at Paintfactory: colour precision for a new generation of projects

Since 1946, we at Paintfactory have been producing quality paint. Today, we are taking a fundamental step forward in how we mix colours.

From June 2025, all our stores will be working with Vibrantz's Pearls technology: a system that uses dry, solid pigments instead of liquid colour pastes. These are dosed with extreme precision - without odor, without biocides, without thinning the paint.

What does that yield?

✔ 100% water-based paints
✔ Perfect colour matching between wall paint, lacquer and textured paint
✔ Better coverage, even with bright or difficult colours
✔ Long-lasting outdoor colourfastness with stable mineral pigments
✔ Increased scrub resistance for dark colours
✔ Biocide-free, packaged with less waste

At the same time, we are also fully transitioning to 100% water-based paint. A conscious choice for a healthier, more environmentally friendly and technically stronger product range.

Pearls is being rolled out internationally in countries including Germany and Italy. Paintfactory is the first Belgian retail chain to implement the system at scale. Not a revolution, but a smart step forward.
