Protection of personal data
Paintfactory attaches great importance to the protection of privacy and processes the personal data provided to it with due care. Personal data are those data that allow us to identify you as a person, regardless of whether we actually do so or not.
Most information is available via the website without you having to provide personal data. The personal data that you provide via the website in the context of a specific activity or service are carefully processed. This Privacy Statement describes how Paintfactory handles the personal data it processes.
Processing of personal data
The personal data provided via this website are processed by Paintfactory. They are processed in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 27 April 2016. Paintfactory processes personal data only for the purpose for which they are collected and only for as long as this is necessary for this purpose.
Paintfactory collects and processes the personal data of customers and suppliers for customer and order management (e.g., customer administration, tracking orders/deliveries, invoicing) through internal collection.
Legal basis(es) for processing
Personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6.1. (a) consent, (b) (necessary for the performance of a contract), (f) (necessary for the legitimate interest of our business) of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent), the customer always has the right to withdraw the given consent.
Transfer to third parties
If necessary for the realization of the stated purposes, the customer's personal data will be shared with one of our other companies within the European Union that are directly affiliated with Paintfactory.
Paintfactory guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.
Access and rights regarding your own personal data
You have the right at all times to inspect your personal data and can have them corrected (or have them corrected) if they are incorrect or incomplete, have them deleted, have their processing restricted, and object to the processing of personal data concerning you based on Article 6.1 (f), including profiling based on those provisions.
Furthermore, you have the right to obtain a copy ( in a structured, common, and machine-readable form) of your personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

The personal data you provide to us will be stored for a period of 50 years, after which the data will be deleted or anonymized (unless there is a specific legal obligation).
